Ashley + Luis’s wedding day was full of laughter and what I can only describe as deep love – for each other and for their families + friends. Their wedding day was the first sunny day following stormy weather that brought snow to Arizona. They married at the Paseo, a breathtaking desert venue showcasing the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. Ashley’s dress was a stunning wedding gown with lace overlay and Luis’s modern twist on a classic black tux was by far one of the coolest suits I’ve ever seen- black with pops of navy blue lining- and of course paired with the timeless bowtie! The groomsmen killed it in the black and navy tuxes while the bridesmaids were stunning in their mix and match purple, blush, and mauve bridesmaid dresses. Ashley and Luis opted to forego a first look and wait until the walk down the aisle to see each other for the first time (that day). When Ashley walked down the aisle she was absolutely captivating and you could see the love beaming from Luis’s eyes. During their ceremony they shared vows they wrote themselves that were both heartfelt and hilarious, leaving the guests tearing up from laughter and their undeniable love. After the ceremony and family photos wrapped up, we ventured into the desert capture Ashley and Luis’s first photos as Mr. and Mrs. Once we made it back to the reception we were greeted by a mariachi band playing their hearts out while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Ashley and Luis’s wedding at the Paseo was an incredible day and I loved being able to experience it with them!
